Cookie policy
A simple approach to cookies.
SMAIT keeps optional tracking off by default. This page explains the small amount of browser storage used by the public site and how to change your choice.

What cookies are
Cookies are small files or browser-storage entries placed on your device by a website. They can remember a setting, help a service work, or provide information about how a site is used.
02
Necessary storage
The public SMAIT site stores a consent preference in your browser under the key smait-cookie-consent-v1. This lets us remember whether you accepted, rejected or adjusted optional cookies.
This storage is necessary for the consent experience and cannot be switched off from the preference panel while using this site. You can remove it through your browser settings.
03
Optional analytics
Optional analytics cookies are currently disabled unless you choose “Accept all” or turn them on under “Manage choices”. No optional analytics script is loaded by this consent component while the choice is off. If an analytics provider is introduced later, this policy will be updated with the provider, purpose, retention period and relevant settings.
04
How to change your choice
Select “Cookie settings” in the SMAIT footer at any time to reopen the preference panel. You can also clear site data in your browser and revisit the site to see the consent prompt again.
Blocking all browser storage may affect the site’s ability to remember your choice, but the public pages remain available.
05
Third-party services
Links to the separate SMAIT platform, email providers and other external sites may use their own cookies or tracking technologies. Those services are outside this Cookie Policy; review their own notices before using them.
